Sunday the Lions beat Tampa Bay with a combination of opportunistic scoring, a pass rush that hurried Jeff Garcia into some bad throws (although he did complete 18 in a row), and Kevin Jones running better than he has in a long while supplemented by a fabulous wide receiver reverse for Calvin Johnson who cut inside the contain, stiff armed the fill, and powered past the last defender for the decisive touchdown. Interestingly the time of possession favored Tampa Bay 36 minutes to 24 minutes--not the recipe you want to live by--but so did turnovers (2-0).
